The BE Pressure SP-550SD 3/8HP Compact submersible water pump that will drain standing water from any environments such as flooded basements and swimming pools. The powerful 3/8″ HP Electric motor uses copper windings to make it highly efficient drawing only 3.65 amps. This means that the continuous duty motor of the SP-550SD can be left running for extended periods of time at a very low power consumption. Once the water has been sufficiently removed the float will automatically switch the pump off to avoid damage. The SP550SD draws water from the bottom of the pump so it is at the lowest point possible to maximize the water removal. The submersible pump has a thermoplastic shell, which resists impacts and dramatically lowers the weight. To provide the maximum flexibility the power cord has been extended to an extra-long 26 feet allowing the pump to be submersed to its maximum lift ability without needing extension cords.
