The BE Power Equipment 85.490.057 5 Gallon (18.93L) is one of the best products for wood structures without causing long term damage. The BE 85.490.057 is ideal for cleaning fences, decks, and other outdoor structures by removing environmental pollution like pollen, dirt, grime, bird waste, tree sap, mildew, mold, and leaf stains. Using a pressure washer to clean your wood structures around you home is not only faster and more efficient but safer from a maintenance standpoint as it will not cause your decks, fences, composite products and other wood structures. We recommend that you do not use a red or yellow nozzle when cleaning your wood structures as it will be too aggressive an will cause damage. We feel that either the white 40° nozzle or the green 25° nozzle is the best choice for your decks and fences. Our contractors recommend that you keep your water pressure low to prevent pushing water scoring your wood or composites, and ensure that your nozzle is at least 6″ to 12″ away from the surface to avoid causing damage. When you are done cleaning, it is recommended that you rinse from the top down which will ensure you remove all of the soap from the structure.
